Apostles' Creed
Who says "Holy Christian Church" rather than "Holy [c/C]atholic Church"?!
I this a North American anti-Catholic thing?

My North American Church says "Holy catholic Church"! :-) But yeah, growing up, we never would have said that in our Southern Baptist Church... never ever. We didn't like catholics. crazy! I can't believe I ever thought that way!
Very interesting. I can't imagine modifying one of the "great" creeds for any reason. Sort of defeats the purpose.
From memory, the Nicene Creed is a "sufficient statement of faith" accoring the NZ Anglican Church. It doesn't serve much purpose in that regard if we can alter the words that we don't like. Perhaps we should remove the word "virgin" to help make it more believable.
